  • Block and unblock your card with the click of a button. When the card is "on" transactions are allowed. When “off,” purchases or withdrawals are restricted.
  • CardControl protects your card by sending transaction alerts and enabling you to define when, where and how your cards are used. Set your preferences to monitor and manage your cards.

The instructions for accessing our CardControl application have changed due to our new system upgrade on July 14, 2023. If you used the Industrial Bank CardControl feature on the previous system (prior to July 14, 2023), please follow the below instructions (steps 1-3) to access CardControl.

If you are new to CardControl, you only need to complete steps 2 and 3.

  1. Remove the previous CardControl app (see below) from your mobile phone;
  2. Go to the Google or Apple Playstore and download the CardValet platform;
  3. Follow the instructions for registering your card. Once your card has been registered, you will see the Industrial Bank CardControl application and you can begin setting up your controls.

* CardControl is not a replacement for reporting your credit card lost or stolen. If you believe your credit card has been lost or stolen, please contact Industrial Bank immediately at 202-722-2000 and continue to monitor your account activity for unauthorized transactions.
While new purchase and cash advances are stopped when you lock your credit card, certain transactions will continue: transactions identified as recurring by the merchant, transactions made prior to locking your card, balance transfers, overdraft protection, checks, account related fees, interest, dispute adjustments, reward redemptions, and the posting of refunds or other credits to the account.  Industrial Bank does not charge a fee for Mobile Banking. However, third-party message and data rates may apply. These include fees your wireless carrier may charge you for data usage and text messaging services. Check with your wireless carrier for details regarding your specific wireless plan and any data usage or text messaging charges that may apply. Also, a supported mobile device is needed to use the Mobile Banking App. Mobile Deposit is a feature of Industrial Bank Mobile Banking. Use of the Mobile Deposit feature requires a supported camera-equipped device and you must download the Industrial Bank Mobile Banking App. Eligible Industrial Bank account and Industrial Bank Online Banking required.
